Wednesday's Run

Soccer Park, 5:10 or 5:30

The Hillene, Triabry, Rad racer group is doing their usual run as well... right?

Also... does anyone care to discuss doing something different on the 24th and the 26th? What should we do?

As far as the 24th goes: For the last 4-5 years we have been having a sleep over to celebrate a birthday on the 23rd. I know you you are thinking inside, but not true it is outside. Sometimes cool, sometimes just out right--cold. So we tuck into bed on the 23rd and arise on the 24th. Of course it would be selfish of me not to invite the whole running group - so come one, come all! My wife has indicated that she will fix a nice breakfast - it is always better after a run.
Now the 26th - you Canadians should know that that is boxers day - so that is what I do, spend the day in the house with my boxers - please don't come to the house on that day, please.

Oh my, what do I say to all of that! You have some very interesting traditions John! I think I will pass on the sleeping out thing, but I'll be there for breakfast!!

We had talked about running out in A.F. area on the 24th and then going to get hot beverages after at a local hot beverage establishment. That's my vote!

And is it still the plan to snow shoe on Saturday? Those who have done this before, what time, where, and how long?

For Pete's sake you crazy people take a holiday! Can you tell I am a pregnant/former sprinter! :)

I'd love to try snow shoeing... but I need to know ahead of time so I can rent a pair.
AF sounds good on the 24th! Is that hot cocoa sugar free? I can't have regular cocoa with my butter and jam covered croissants!
A joke from a 7th grader I heard today: did you know the Christmas alphabet is different? That's right, there are no L (Noel).
Cheers.

John2 - How patriotic of you? To celebrate Boxer's Day. Do you have sequinned boxers?

Winder - I believe that if you were to say for "Marion's sake" or "Mike's sake" or "Flo Jo's sake" or "Carl's sake" - THAT might reveal that you are a sprinter. But Pete's sake? It sounds more like you're into tennis as in Sampras, or baseball as in Rose. Lots of Petes in the athletic world arent there?! But not so many in the running world.

Thanks for visiting.
