Christmas Party - 12/15/07

The first annual crackodawn Christmas Party will be Saturday, December 15 at 7:00. You and your spouse or date are invited. We have decided on Thai Chili Garden located on 800 North in Orem. Due to Cracker's socially religious obligations, we will eat dinner later then go somewhere else for dessert and/or games. If you all do not mind driving all the way to American Fork, that somewhere can be my house. Ms. Mileage has also offered her house.

Please RSVP by leaving a comment (then we can get a reservation). If you have a serious aversion to the aforementioned restaurant, please let us know.

We can go ahead and have the party at my house. It was a good excuse to hire a cleaning lady! Rabid and I talked a few more details today, like I will provide a drink bar(non-alcoholic of course. Sorry Long legs, we're a sober group!! But that doesn't mean we don't know how to PAR-TAY!) Rabid is going to bring a yummy keylime cheesecake treat. So anyone else who wants to, can bring a little snacky snack to share. We can play Mafia (Hillene's game of choice), we can karaoke and dance-dance, we can sit and mingle or whatever else our little hearts desire. All in favor say "I"!

Iye. Don't worry, I'm a sober group, too. I quit drinking a while ago and have reached the point where I'm sick of being around people that drink. So I'm glad there won't be any drinking around. I do feel kinda bad that that's what you think about me, though. I'll have to prove myself better than that!

We will be there.

We Mormons are a "peculiar people." We assume that if you're not a Mormon, you're a drinker. Kind of like we assume that if you're a Canadian, you say "eh" more than anything else or if you are a woman and you drive a subaru outback, you are a girl who likes girls (if you know what I mean...!)

It was said with tongue in cheek, more to make fun of how people stereotype us and not to be disrespectful to you, Long legs. I'm sorry my comment came out wrong. You have to know that many times I say things sarcastically or jokingly and sometimes without thought, and on a blog it is difficult to sense a tone in one's voice. All right now that we have that taken care of, let's all be friends again and run!!! See you all tomorrow at Hillene's.

We're in as a tentative Aye. We're verifying if we have someone to watch the kids that evening.

Hey, I see a lot of girls driving Subaru Outbacks!! I didn't know what it meant though. And I didn't realize there were so many girls who "liked" girls! Wow. Of course, that's the same reason why I won't let my wife convince me to drive a VW Bug... I don't care how "cute" they are!!
You guys missed a nice run through the golf course this morning... except they've tightened the fence gap!! I really need to lose those 10 pounds! However, we will bring some treats on the 15th! Mafia is fun, especially with Phil there... it gets competitive!! :) Hey, what's going on this Saturday?

When is Cracker NOT competitive? I've heard stories about Cracker's wife really getting into Mafia. I guess competition runs in their family! This should be fun to be a part of.
Don't worry about the 10 pounds, that's what New Years resolutions are for! Plus at least we know you will show up to run because you "need" to! You also missed a nice run this morning. A three mile tempo, what's not to love?! Saturday is not planned for yet other than distance-15 miles o.k. with everyone? We'll decide on time and location in the next few days after many opinions and dozens of blog entries. But that's what makes this blog so much fun!
