Saturday (July 26, 2008)

Who's running? We were thinking Mouth of Provo Canyon 5:00. Is that good?
20 miles planned.

What about Friday? Anyone interested to bike up to Squaw Peak or South Fork? I know it is not the true sport (who are you? have the courage to sign your name next time!), but it's better than sleeping in!
5:00am on Saturday works for me!

So, Frenchie, Rick and I are super tired from the race today, so we're not really wanting to bike hard tomorrow. How badly are you wanting to go? We could possibly be convinced (maybe!) if we met at 6 and went shorter and easier than last Friday. Does that mess your training up??!! And great to hear that you have decided to stay true to the Real Sport and run with us Saturday!
Later!

I won't be there saturday... cute boy + moab + running the river was too big of an opportunity to miss. Good luck to the rest of you though!

Don't pass up that kind of opportunity for anything!!

hey, Frenchie, give us a call tonight so we can get tomorrow figured out. We are going to a bbq and fireworks in Mapleton right now.

I will be there at 5
Hey Ms Mileage, you were smoking (not dope) in the race yesterday-way to go.

We need to check later today, there was a fire that burned the restaurant at Bridal Veil, the trails have been closed...maybe we can go on the road around. We will want to watch that.

I never thought i would see the day when Ms. Mileage would actually put it in writing (for all to see) that she may be too tired to train!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, you're slacking off coach!!
But thanks for giving us an excuse to take a day off without guilt! It was nice sleeping in today!
Later!

I would bet that Ms. Mileage wouldn't refer to taking a day off as "slacking." It's more of a tactical rest day so she can hit it hard tomorrow. 20 sounds good; I'll have to work up to that in a few weeks.

Hey, those are great times for both Miles and Paceless. You are an inspiration. I don't think I can even pick up and set down my feet that fast even standing still. Miles how did your sister-in-law do on the marathon?

I am planning on being there tomorrow at 5:00 am. Is up to South Fork and back 20 miles or do we go up higher than South Fork?

It's 20 to the top of South Fork Canyon and back.

I lied. It's 10.25 from the mouth of the canyon to the top of South Fork Canyon. Round trip that makes it a blistering 20.5.

Don't underestimate your calculations, Rabid, cause I think going up on the highway may have added the extra .25 each way.
