Correct as usual Queen Rabid! Let's try the canal and see if that's a nice change of scenery!

Hillene, did you make it back from your trip? Missed you fun lady!

Indeed, let's hear about the trip.

Just wanted to say "hello". You guys are great!

Lets do the trail run? I am thinking of running the mud up dry creek and over the great western trail to the rock pile and back. But for you long runners, that it only a warmup of 6 to 7 miles.

You guys missed out on a great spinning class this morning. The instructor was very "inspiring".
Where the heck were you?
Cheers.

So...with Easter festivities, soccer games, etc. a few have voiced that they need to be done earlier than usual on Saturday. Any takers for starting at 5??!! Just throwing it out there- no screams please!!

Jean-Michel, the feelings are mutual!
Bounce, not yet!
Bobby, you're freaky!

rabidrunner said...

Sure. Anyone care to elaborate on the "inspiring" part of the spin class?

Wasn't there-trying to heal! So, yes, Bobby, please tell us how you were "inspired" by a spin class!

So, I'm thinking along the lines of 15 miles. Anyone have an idea about the route?

What about run toward the mouth and then go towards Provo, up around the Temple, down by the stadium, over past Movies 8, then up that hill to get on Carterville and back to the soccer park? I have no idea how many miles that is, but it's something different. Or we could work a loop to include the canyon. Anyone else out there with an opinion please pipe up!!

I am still voting for the mud fest of a trail run.

I'll be there at 5
Will tag along until who knows when

What about south in the usual fashion, around the Provo Carrot, and return via Timpview Drive/Canyon Road then up the canyon for those of us needing more mileage?

Sure, sounds great!!

Bobby, you weren't at spin today. The inspiration you received in yesterday's class was a little overwhelming for you?

Is there anyone who is not wanting to start at 5 and wants to meet somewhere along the route? Post so we know to watch for you. Otherwise c'yall bright and early!!

i would like to start later but i am not sure where to meet you all. I need to be home by 8:30. I am not looking for many miles maybe 15-15 1/2. Does anyone else want to start later:???

I only want 15 too... who wants more than 15?

I want 9 maybe 10 more than 15. I'm traveling next weekend and need to get that last long one in tomorrow.

Ms. Mileage this is the run that we are going to run. Sounds exciting:
Welcome to where the Cascade Mountains crash into the sea. This event’s technical course meanders its way amongst rock-climbing areas and bat caves, punctuated by what the course designer describes as "insane views of Mt. Baker" and the North Cascades to the east. The views of the San Juan Islands to the west, Canadian Rockies to the north, plus the vast Skagit Valley to the south are not half bad, either. Elevations bounce between 200 and 2,500 feet, but do not include any huge, sustained climbs. Rather, the course is always heading up or down. Traverses of broken ridgeline require nimble feet while highly technical sections demand mountain goat skills (there will be two roped sections to aid in a climb). Overall, an impressive trail-running test that delivers a balance of fire roads, single track, and double track.
