The 2 over 50 year olds did the run today! Just a little spring storm it was. Wasn't that bad...although the road sure changed by the time we went to work and school. I would say much better road than those new machines at Golds.
Here, here running mate. Just need to be tough and old, and from Smithfield to run in weather like this. Thanks for the run and the chit chat, it was just a chit chat running speed, but the one hill did help the heart a bit.
I would have preferred to run my 12 outside, but that wind scared me off!! Glad you two had fun though! So, I may (not promising) go up and pick up packets for the Ogden 1/2 on Friday. I need to know who is registered and planning on running it. Also we can make plans for a carpool on Saturday morning. I figured we need to meet at Albertsons parking lot at 5:00 am.
The packets can be picked up day of the race or the day before, and I just thought if I have time Friday, I might as well drive up to Layton and pick them up so we don't have to leave Saturday morning quite as early. I'll use the excuse of "needing" to stop at Fashion Place mall for a little shop therapy!! Now all of this depends on if I can get a babysitter for my kindergarten son, so it's not for certain yet.
