Hobble Creek sounds good to me. Would we want to add all the extra mileage on at the beginning or split it up? And would we be able to start kinda, sorta early??? (Nothing too crazy!!)

Does anyone know when the Olympic track and field events start?

Radracer, are you running with us Saturday? Have you recovered from your race yet?

I would do Hobble Creek, although I love just going to the canyon, doing the run, and coming back...only so many hours in a day! Not sure on Radracer, he has an ankle issue he is dealing with?

Track & Field starts Friday in Beijing-that name sounds like one of the names used by our ami francais.

Ms Mileage... exactly how early is considered "not crazy"? If we go up 'bout three, then that would add 6 to the already 15 mile route. Those who wish to do so could add on after that.

I believe the T&F starts Friday. The Women's Marathon is Saturday at 5:30 MDT. The NBC schedule can be found at:

(Sorry, you'll need to copy and paste the address. I'm too lazy to href it but obviously not too lazy to reference that I'm too lazy to href it.)

Hobble Creek 3, Canyon 1.

I'm slowly recovering from last Saturday! I may be able to join the fun this Saturday. Hobble Creek sounds fun.
Does anyone know when the ping-pong starts? I'm getting tired of synchronized diving.
All i have to say is: "Allez la France!" I hear that Phelps is on the same prescription than Amstrong!! If it wasn't for that, France would smash the competition!
Got to go... looks like Korea is going to win the US at baseball!!!!

Was it the run Saturday or your diet that is sucking the life out of you?

Go USA!

Hey all, paceless and I would love to do Hobble Creek but we need to go early...like be hitting the garmin start buttons at 6:00am at the latest. Hopefully we can be back to the extended family sleepover for brunch and clean-up about 10:00. Does this sound possible?

I'm pretty well recovered from the actual racing part of the race. I'm still dealing with an not-race-specific ankle issue (peroneals, again, aarghhh), so I won't be moving on foot for any of the distances being discussed. It seems like I'm going to be limited to wheels and elliptical for a while.

What time should we meet in Springville? 5:15 or 5:30?

how far are we talking here? I think that I might be game:) So hopefully I'll see ya'll there:)

How did yoga feel on the ankle, Rad? Have fun on the elliptical- atleast go when the Olympics are on so you have something to take your mind off the boredom of the machine! Hope to see you running again soon!

Rabid, was your time question before or after the main post? I will assume before and go with meeting at Albertsons at 5 unless otherwise posted!

And Edoll, the mileage can be pretty much what you are looking for, cause if you want 20-22 that's probably the furthest most are running, but it you want 13, you could meet us up Hobble Creek canyon at 6:45 (after we will have gone up and back 6) and run down the canyon and back to your car.

If you read this and are planning on meeting at Albertsons, let us know so we don't leave without anyone!
