Do you have a planned route? That way I can make shortcuts and see others every once in a while. Last week I did not turn around when you did and ended up running past a big marquee listing the temperature at 16°. Perhaps we can put these routes in gmap-pedometer.com.
I don't think we've decided on a route yet. There was some talk about going south on the Provo river trail (it's actually South-West), but I don't think it's a definite.
We could do the Aromatherapy route (re:soccer complex route) or the Crackohead route (the one we ran a few weeks ago by the mall and then out towards the lake when Dr. Scott fell). Votes?
Anyone else totally sick of winter (except of course when we are snow shoeing)? Wednesday's run was horrible-slow and dangerous! We had 3 people slip and fall to the ground. BTW, how are you three recovering?! Hopefully Saturday will not be as dangerous!!
We had fun on our Wednesday run. Hillene & I were on our way to pick up RadRacer, Hillene went down on a corner and took me out with her fall. Sign her up as a safety in the NFL!
That's funny! Outnback and I did the same thing. Then Ms. Mileage wacked me a good one and sent me flying, over the edge and through a tree only to land on top of an eight inch slab of ice. On my knees. I knew she was tuff, but.... (She didn't really knock me over. Once again I've added a "story element"... not to be confused with lying or exaggeration. Those are different.)
i love great stories. and all kinds of additions are great in my book. radracer gave me a great story and said that we don't need to run this much. i said no we need to run and run and run and run. wait who am i fooling. so we are going snow shoeing. ANY TAKERS!!!!!!!! let's talk
He fooled you Hillene and you fell for it!! We will sorely miss both of you if you are not there in the morning and hopefully your marathon training will not suffer because of your choice!! Just kidding. Truth is, I'm jealous. But I am also afraid! Afraid my love for snowshoeing will become so strong, that I will never want to run again. And I have paid a lot of money to run Boston so gosh darn it I am going to sadly avoid the temptation and keep to my training schedule!
