Wednesday's Run (11/21/07)

Soccer Park, 5:10 or 5:30

There was a discussion this morning about organizing something for Thursday (Turkey Day). Radracer and Cracker have a Big Springs Turkey Day tradition. I believe that I will stay in the north end of the county that day (I have to pluck the feathers of the family heirloom turkey and churn my own butter).

What do you want to do?

I think we talked about starting the Big Springs run at Vivian at 6:30. I could use some more girl power if any females want to join me! I do want to make sure Big Springs is still the plan though, otherwise I will go out to A.F. (Not that you are second best, Rabid. It's a time thing for me too!) By the way your fresh homemade bread with your fresh churned butter would be a most delectable treat!

I am planning to do the Big Springs event as a bit of a family thing. I will plan to meet at Vivian at 6:30, but the rest of the family I might just send up to the trail head -- around 7, with the plan to run from that point.
I know I have not been too as many areas as you trail people, but I have never been to Big Springs so I am looking forward to it, but also planning on it to be the start of the day for my family. I am not planning any speedy run or workout Mileage you ought to bring Rick, the dog and the rest of the family.

Rick and the dog would normally love to come and would be there in a heart beat, but on that day their hearts will beat for a stronger passion- guiding a pheasant hunt. I can't wait for the day when my kids will run with me! I've got a long time to wait though! I'm hoping we will done by 8:30 since I have a lot of Thanksgiving prep, but I also want a good workout for the body before the big workout for the mouth!

I had some treatment for my hip...it's not COOL to be HIP. (Let me know if any of you youngsters need translation of the 70's language!) I need to stay of the mountain this run...I think I will run with Hilleen in Orem. 5:30 start at her home.
