HEY since I am the first one to comment on Sat. YOU ALL have to ride a bike!!! It is going to be great weather. The HILLS are live with the sound of wheels. It will be great.

If you will go back to the Wed. comments you will notice that Mileage beat you with an idea. However, the path she is mentioning is wide enough one could ride a bike, take the dog and allow a runner or two to run, as well.
I am not 100% sure what I will want to do on Saturday - but the path that Mileage has suggested does sound nice, but very close to a repeat of last Saturday. I would assume I would be there around 6 AM. I know that others our newest SG group want to start at 5:30 - but by the time we get to the water towers - it will be 6. So I hope that we might see others as well, bikes and dogs included.

I can hear you singing now Hillene. How bout this:

Fat tires and sprockets
With black and chrome accents
Helmets and padding
Galore in my pantses

Shimano and rock shox
Cleats that lock in

These are a few of my favorite things!

So 6:00? Is that what time we're meeting?

The trip over the mountain from the soccer park and up to Bridal Falls and back along the Parkway trail is about 11.7 miles. This is if you stay on the Alta Canal road the whole way (which drops down the steep descent called Grizzly). If you continue to Vivian Park (water fountain) from the falls and back it is about 15.5miles.

Awesome info!

Hillene, it's been too long- you must run with us Saturday!

Rabid, you are so very talented! You must publish a book one of these days- it would be hilarious I'm sure of it. Thanks for the smiles!! And 6:00 sounds like a good starting time to me. It should be a beautiful day for a trail run!

Climb every mountain
Fall from the cliff
Never let him pass me
That is why I live

RadRacer and I will run but will have some fun on bikes right after the run if anyone wants to join.

I'm home this week-end and would love to run and then bike. Hillene, what are your plans? What time, where, how far? What about the run? Road, trails, how far?
I've missed you guys. See you tomorrow!
PS: who is great scott?

Isn't it your birthday tomorrow, Super Awesome Great Scott??? We should have cake...or crepes. I think so far we have decided to start at the soccer park at 6am and run up by the water tower to get on the shoreline trail heading up the canyon. The plan is 15 miles I believe. We will be about half trail and half pavement so wear one trail shoe and one running shoe to cover both bases! Oh, and I would love to bike too, how far, how long, and are you bringing your bikes with you to the run?? Give me info people. Hillene, come run and then bike after. It's a party tomorrow and you are the life of all things party related!
Later!

How about-

There once was a cracker
but now he seems to be a slacker
oh where did that cracker go?
Oh fill-up, fill-up where is
my cracker today, today?

Or for Rapid
"What do you get if you cross the internet with a rabit?"

And where are those longlegs - you would think that all this bike talk would get some legs churning.

And then there is that edoll she runs a marathon, shows us all up the runs off the face of the earth?
I guess that one can't come back and run with the slow group after such a showing.

Wish to see you all again - learn these names and match to the faces then - poof gone...

We will have bikes there at the park.

Perhaps I will leave my bike somewhere up the canyon before the run so I can use it to catch up to you guys on the run. Great Scott is slow Scott, the one who comes with John2 and dosn't really keep up.
