Due to conflicting schedules, it looks like we will have two speed sessions this week. One on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
For Wednesday's run, the plan is to meet at the soccer park at 5:00, run to a high school and crank out some 400's. Some of us are doing a 5k on Saturday and would need the speed on Wednesday as opposed to Thursday.
In regards to the 5k race on Saturday, the race is a Huntsman Cancer Institute fund raiser and is called "Mike's Mad Dash." Mike is the hospital administrator and if you beat him to the finish, you get two movie tickets. They say Mike is athletic but "football player athletic" - whatever that means. The race starts at 9:00am from the American Fork hospital. It's $10 if you register before Saturday, $15 day of. You can register at the American Fork Hospital or call 855-3279 for more info.
For those of you doing a speed workout on Thursday, post a comment in regards to the where and the when and I'll put it up.
Did I miss anything? Oh yeah. Have a nice day.

Thanks for mentioning the American Fork Hospital 5K on Saturday. The hospital has been holding this evetn annually for quite some time. The event is to kick off the hospitals activities centered around Breast Cancer Awareness Month. American Fork Hospital is home to the first-ever Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center (a partnership between Huntsman Cancer Institute and Intermountain Healthcare). For more info about the 5K visit http://intermountainhealthcare.org/xp/public/americanfork/aboutus/news/article13.xml.
We're almost there running buddies!! Only 10 days left and then we can stand in that wonderful shower of water at the finish line, proudly receive our medals, limp over to the ice massage station, munch and mingle, and then relax!! Thanks for lots of great runs and run times!
O.k. that's enough sap talk-now let's go crank out our final speed session!
That's was supposed to read "fun" times, but you catch my drift!!
