Trail trekker did AWESOME!!! I can't remember her exact time. Somewhere around 9:40, but she got 6th in her age group and 9th overall. And only ONE funky blister!! Not bad for a 50-mile race! She is SOOO strong, especially since her pacer was out with an injury which meant she was on her own for the last 16 miles after leaving some friends. And this was when she had some stomach issues due to dehydration (I still feel bad about not being there with her), but she pushed on like the trooper that she is and RAN most of that last 16. AMAZING!!!
BTW, it was fun to "walk" into all of you yesterday! Everyone looks like they're feeling great and running well, and I can't wait to get this injury taken care of so I can join you again! And Scott, it was fun to have company on my walk! You're doing great and I am proud of you for your hard work.
