Wednesday (1.14.09)

Soccer Park, 5:30

Also, Docteur Scott (or whatever he's being called these days) ran the Maui Paradise Marathon and took 9th! Evidently there was thunder and lightening and lots of rain. So much for his sweat lodge training!

Is anyone going to be there tomorrow? Being as my personality is timid and easily punctured, I don't know that I can handle driving out there only to meet no one. It would be a repeat of today... in the which I worked double time yesterday, arranged 3 babysitters and mega help from Spouse to go skiing... in the which I drove through morning commute traffic only to discover THAT I BROUGHT THE WRONG SKI BOOTS. The ones that don't fit the bindings on my skis. Also can be called SOMEONE ELSE'S BOOTS. Might as well be my mom's moon boots from 1986.

Drove home in tears. Sunshine and snow was replaced with snot and sorrow.

So I really, really, really need to know if someone will be there in the morning. I cannot have a repeat of today... no matter how miniscule it may be in comparison.

Fragile, I tell you. My timid personality is fragile. (You could add some armor to this personality by telling me that I'm funny.)

You could always run with us on the west side of the tracks, Hillene starts @ 5. You need some deep bonding tomorrow from some who ski! I went with my son a few years ago, left my parents home in Logan for Targee, but also left the skis nice and warm in the garage in Logan. That was some logistical fun!
We missed you in spin this morning!

Rabid...you make me want to laugh and cry! That was even better to read than it was to hear you tell it on the phone. So I will make every effort to be out there in the morning with you and any other brave souls who are there. Just make sure you set out the right shoes tonight :o)

Contgrats Dr. Scott!!! Hope you have a swift recovery so you can come run with us and tell us the details.

I'll be there tomorrow, but unless you run backwards I won't keep you company for long.

See how much you are loved, Rabid! I hear there was the largest group in a long time this morning! Everyone coming out to console you and/or giggle with you! Glad it was a great run to make up for a stinky day yesterday!

Love you all!!!
