Timpanooke to Grove Creek
Meet at the Grove Creek parking lot at 6:30
(Basically, take 1100 North Pleasant Grove and head East as far as you can go. You'll hit the parking lot.)

The plan is to drive up AF Canyon to the Timpanooke trailhead and run up and around the face of Timp, then down Grove Creek Canyon. I think it's around 12 miles, but on't quote me on that... it could be 10, it could be 14. I'm pretty sure it's not more than 14.

WEAR BRIGHT COLORS.... ORANGE IF YOU GOT IT! I just discovered that the deer hunt opens tomorrow morning.

Also, as a heads up, on Saturday a few of us are going to run from the Timpanooke trail head up to the top and then down Grove Canyon. The plan is to be running at 7:00 (earlier than that and it's too dark.) Is anyone else interested? We'll need to shuttle a car or get a ride to the trail head, so we'll need a rough estimate on how many.

OK, I have not been able to really comminicate very well so from what I have gathered, this is the post. More wanted Provo Canyon and Big Springs that anywhere else. They will run the Provo River Half tomorrow also. If we started at 5:30 at Canyon Glen we could be up and past the half before they start at 7.

So...Canyon Glen @ 5:30 AM...that gives us 18+. And if people want to over ride this, have RabidRunner do that, or be bold in comments. I am just trying to help the gathering!

And if anyone wants to bike after, let me know, I am going after the run.

Orem High School, 6:00am

Orem high is located at 175 Tiger Way, or approximately 400 East and 175 South (Orem.) Meet in the parking lot on the west side of the school. Some of us are running the 5k to support Camie Jacobs at 9:00. The plan is to run a few (12ish) at 6:00, then whoever wants to turn back for the race can do so. Perhaps we could start at Orem high and head towards Provo Canyon? Or...?

If you would like to join in the support for Camie, you can register that morning, the cost is $15 for the 5k or $10 for the kids run (the distance is 1k, I beleive.) Camie is a cross country coach at Orem high school and was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. The Orem high cross country team is producing this run for you.
